LOL That was a great optical illusion. The ref had a 25 yard head start. Although it is fun when you call a game where you can suck up their running back.

1. hes black lol 2. he had and angle from the far side of the field. 3. that pass interference on the next play was a blown call

Saw the film at booster club. The Sweetwater kid had a right hand full of jersey for about 8 yards at about the time the ball was throw. Actually should have been defensive holding and not interfernce. Our film from the home side had a very clear view of the whole play. The only penalty that you have a real agruement about might be the second interference call later in the game.

Good point stud. That ref looked like he was in a half-jog and reached the end zone at the same time as Baryard. I forgot, he is a track sprinter.

I have a question. I can't argue calls like pass interference and
holding because those are judgement calls. But, the play where
Gary Edwards sat in the pocket for about 5 minutes with no
pressure and then threw the ball down field and no one was
within ten yards of it....how was that not intentional grounding?

By rule, if the quarterback is outside the tackle on either side and the ball goes past the line of scrimmage, it's not intentional grounding.

It's not a judgement call under the rule that I mention as long as the quarterback is outside the tackle and throws past the line of scrimmage. Look it up if you don't believe me.

We were all wondering why Edwards didn't just take off running, except for maybe not wanting to get lit up by Banyard. Although in the second half he did scramble a little more.

Maybe he takes it with him when he rides the Short Bus.

BTW how big is #72 for Sweetwater. That dude has his own atmosphere. I distinctly saw some small planets orbiting his body.
