No, it wasn't. But from the word I got, the Taylor boys were VERY good. Had plenty of speed when they got around our DE's.

8th grade:
B - 14-7, LH
A - 28-7, Taylor

Celina vs. Prosper could be the games for "who grows the fastest to 4A". Both towns should be exploding over the next several years.

Rockdale Freshman 12
Cameron freshman 6

The Tigers ended their season at home tonight with a win over the yoeman.

If Taylor wins next week against Hutto the Ducks win the district with a 3-1 district mark. Rockdale is 3-1 also but they had their only loss to the ducks 28-20 last week. the ducks lost to Cameron the week before.

Great Season to the Tigers. 9-1 on the year and 24-1-1 overall.

A new streak begins........

Jasper's 8th grade beat someone tonight. lol

But all that matters is their stud qb went for 244 yds on 17-24 and 3 tds.

Him being my brother is probably the reason that is all I can remember.:D

Does anyone have the Sinton/AP scores? I drove the filed in Sinton and the Panther freshman were winning 20-7 in the third.

They were split up this year. The QB was moved up in week 4 of the year. He was on the sideline in his street clothes cheering the guys on last night just like all the nights before. The leading rusher while these kids were in JR High was wearing yoeman maroon last night, although he wasn't near as successful running against the Tigers as he was running behind them.

Before this group leaves Rockdale, there will be many games played, many won and the "Roar will be Restored"........

For those who don't know the Tiger head coach started looking to the future by personally calling the plays and coaching the 7th grade B team to a 8-8 tie last night at home in Rockdale against Hutto. Hutto's 7th grade B team came to Rockdale since Cameron didn't have a 7th B team. The other Jr high coaches were in Cameron coaching the 7th A team to a victory. Coach Miller was overheard saying this was a great game for us as well as these kids.
