Hunter Callis was named Texas 3A Player of the Week by Ford Motors. Hunter gained 250 yds, scored 4 tds, a fg, and PAT plus blocked a PAT to score all of the La Grange Leopard's 32 points in their 32-31 win over highly regarded Caldwell in the tough 3A districdt 23. Way to go Hunter! Also 3A DownLow's POTW.

This game was last week, why are they so slow on the news?

Does Hunter play any other sports? Looked like good all around athlete. Probably played a little soccer in his younger days.

I heard the LG coaches show on radio this morning, and the coach said he was the player of the week, did not say vs who, but sure sounded like it was this week. He need to make clear it was not the Bellville game, vs Bellville, LG did not have that many yards.
