Bridge City travels to Hardin this week. Anyone care to opinionate on the outcome of this one. My friend said there were several B-C scouts at the game in Kountze. Could this be a close one this year? I also heard that Hardin's R-B was hurt in the Kountze game.....

Opinions ????

I have seen BC once this year. They lost that game but they can be pretty salty when they get rolling. Then they lost by one point to an Orangefield team that apparently manhandled Anahuac. I'll take BC by 17.

Any other opinions on this upcoming game in Hardin. All I know is that Hardin will have to play the best they can, and some to WIN this one.
Bridge City is a well disciplined and fundamental program so mentally they will definitely have to be prepared. I think it will be a close game.

Going with an upset....

Hardin 20 Bridge City 14

Hardin 20 Bridge City 14I beg the differ. Hardin hasn't shown to be a force to reckon with as they were last year. I take BC by 20.

Looking at each one opponent's thusfar, Bridge City by 28...But I would say there will be a 18 point difference, as BC Coaching will try to develop some new stuff on Offense. If it plays out, as what is probable-Orangefield or Anahuac will be rolling into a game with Liberty in Bi-District.

Hardin getting beat by Kountze should say enough. BC should roll pretty easily. Just my take.

Did Kountze beat Hardin, or did Hardin beat Kountze? I have seen the score both ways. just curious if anyone knows.

Obviously I didn't go to the game. 2 year old son was hospitalized, and I'll have a twitch all week having not seen a game. I have seen two sites that showed Kountze winning 12-0 and another with Hardin winning 12-0. I checked the Beaumont Enterprise and they have Hardin winning. But no matter. If Hardin can only hang 12 on Kountze, I still can't see them staying with BC. Looks to me like it will be Orangefield, Anahuac and BC from this district advancing. Just my take.

You will all be suprised after this week by Hardin's capabilities, playing there hearts out without the best two players, for the rest of the season.

Hardin is going to upset B-C this week, maybe...haha

Hornets 26 ---- Cardinals 20Hardin beating Bridge City. Not gonna happen partner. BC is in a serious rebuilding year, but when your playing Kountze to a 12 point game, BC is in no way, shape or form in that kind of poor playing condition. Stranger things have happened in highschool football, but this one I will go with BC by 30 points. (and really only because he will try to get the sophmores more playing time)

Kountze is a better team than most think. Yeah, Hardin played them to a 12 point game, but Hardin also had many opportunities to make the score more out of reach and failed to do so, probably because the RB did not play the 2nd half. Look at it like this, Orangefield only beat them 19-0 so there is not much you can say about Kountze other than they are an "alright" football team. H-J had to beat them in O-T, so I know Hardin will play B-C a good, close game. I'd like to see an upset, I just do not know if the kids have the mentallity of beleiving that they can actually beat yah'.

Good Game, that is my prediction !

Bridge City has back-ups? In a rebuilding year, as Hardin always is, from what I understand, they do not have back-ups. LoL ! What is that called, rebuilding, or just not having the numbers for the 3a level?

Hardin beat HF last year from what I understand, so I don't believe that we be considered an upset.

LoL

What is that called, rebuilding, or just not having the numbers for the 3a level?Bridge City has a host of sophmores and juniors on this team. Bridge City is probably around 2 years away from big things again. I am really impressed with Orangefield. This may be one of the best teams they have fielded in a while. I don't look for hardin to be a factor. They should be fighting it out with Buna and Kountze for the bottom of the district, but like I said stranger things have happened.

Hey, nobody thought Hardin would be as good off as they are right now. Not even I, but the fact of the matter is, they do have a chance at the third spot and that is just my opinion. This district could possibly come down to that last game when B-C travels to Anahuac. I hope B-C takes care of them, but anyways, that is a few weeks away.

To PGANMGT: I wonder is you will continue to babble after Friday night, or will you just fade away?

Babble? LoL
I am supporting Hardin the best I can, just by stating the simple facts. I'm not from Hardin, but I am willing to back them up if they are making progress, I do have a cousin on the team.
Liberty is my hometown, and I am willing to put all my money on the line for them, Good Luck B-C.

Buna vs. Kountze. If Buna fails to win this game, they will probably be 0-10 for the year. Not sure when the last time that has happened

Kountze will more than likely beat Buna, saying this from how both fared against Hardin. I'm sure that game will be a thriller. LoL

5. Anahuac 2-2GOODNESS MAN........lol.....Those are HUGE upsets Here is my take on it
Orangefield 28 over HF (Orangefield is rolling)
BC 30 over Hardin (BC is down but not out)
Koutze over Buna by 7 (Buna will play tough it's there only chance to win one)
Anahuac 21 over HJ (The panthers will be mad as all get out and HJ will pay the price for that)
The only reason Hardin has even got a 2-1 record in District is because they haven't played the big guns in the district yet. They have the toughest schedule from here on out, I actually see them losing the last ones. Not trying to be mean, just an opinion.

Having seen both teams play during the season I hate to tell ya that Hardin is completely out of their league. Bridge City wins this one big time. BC by at least 30

We gotta come out ready to play. BC can't afford to take anyone lightly. Every game is the difference between going to the playoffs and staying home. Good luck Cards!! wink
