Wow! Go 10-0, win 1st in district and get rewarded by a 1st round game with Daingerfield. Lesser teams will fare better next week.

We would have had to face them sometime to get out of Region II. Might as well get it over with. Plus, we owe them one from this time last year.

Had Daingerfield won its district, we would be playing Atlanta. There are no easy games in NE Texas. It's speed on speed.

This was the most awesome game Gilmer has played to date this year and maybe the best game of the Traylor era which began in 2000. Three district titles in a row and the Buckeyes haven't lost a district game since October of 2000.

It's pretty dominating when you have more points (45) than your opponent has total yards (44). Very impressive win, and D'Field looks like they struggled with Pleasant Grove winning only 18-15.
Way to bounce back Buckeyes!! You got your district crown, and that's the way we've all been expecting you to play!!

I don't think anybody can stop McKenzie and HinesEasy now Chief! Yeah we played one Helluva game last night, but D'Field is not Lindale. Additionally, storied programs like D'Field always bring their "A game" to the playoffs. No easy win for the Buckeyes next week. The Tigers will be coming off a seemingly disappointing game against the Pleasant Grove Hawks, so they may be very fired up next week. I'll say Gilmer wins by 12 or less next week. Hey, I gotta' call a Buckeye victory! :D
