FYI he wasnt fired, just suspended for a week and his status is under review

I think a week off is fair ....... yes it was an innocent no harm intended comment but in his position you just cant say that stuff

ESPNU needs to really rethink their hiring practices. Isn't this the second guy who's been disciplined/fired this season for remarks on air, or was that dolt from the Miama game an employee of a local affiliate?
