So are the Steelers gay too?

FROM ESPN

Porter then planted a kiss on coach Bill Cowher's neck on the sideline. It was reminiscent of the kiss Cowher put on quarterback Kordell Stewart in Baltimore in 1997.

"That's my guy there," Porter said about his rather affectionate greeting for Cowher. "We're close, no matter what you guys say."

"That was a great play by him," Cowher said when asked about the smooch from Porter. He paused, then added: "It was better than the last time, when I initiated it. To be honest with you, I'm fine with it."

I am still not a Cowboy fan until Jerry Jones leaves but I like what I saw from Romo (football skils). I think he has a chance to be a good NFL quarterback. In fact I watched both VY and Romo yesterday and I say right now that from a skills standpoint only, I would take Romo over VY now. Romo has escapeability (footwork and speed) and a definite presence in the pocket plus an outstanding delivery. VY has a marque name and good running skills but poor footwork and a very very shaky delivery for the professional game.

football is an emotional game, and beating a team when nobody gave you a chance to win for your first start in the league is reason to shed a tear or two. I cried after many games when I was playing...and at my wedding, accdording to Keith and the other idiot, I must be gay.

bulldogman06
10-30-2006, 01:45 PM
Umm, hmmm, marriage is much different than winning a game you are getting paid tons of money to play in. A regular season game. not a high schooler playing what could be his last game ever only for the love of the game.

handNthedirt
10-30-2006, 01:49 PM
every play could be your last...every game could be your last...it's becoming more and more obvious to me that many of you douche bags casting judgement haven't ever played a snap of organized football.

handNthedirt
10-30-2006, 01:51 PM
...and just because they are paid tons of money doesn't mean that is the only reason they are playing the game. Believe it or not, some of those guys actually play for the love of the game...and I'd bet that Romo is one of those guys.

bulldogman06
10-30-2006, 01:57 PM
Haha, look at this, call me a douche bag, I never played organized football... hahaha, moron. how about 7 years from middle school to high school, and a few small college offers, did you play any more than I have? did you start? what did you play? both ways? dont talk crap to me about football, I was 3 years old sittin on my dads lap watchin football friday nights, saturdays and sundays.
