Well I don't care - I'm gonna be a homer! :nerd: Wes's #'s may not be too flashy, but he had a good game last night. He is trying so hard and really leaving it all out on the field!!

Wes Ring, QB, junior
4/8, 77 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT (i think)
19 carries, 105 yards

So there

I'll give 15 dollars to the first person who can be any more immature than this...

looks like this is the week of the QB...

hey, you know what would be cool? maybe when we do the poll we can list the scores with them, thatta way if there is a close call some people may make the decision on how close the game was...

now if a kid had 400 yards passing and 200 rushing in the first half, I don't care if it's 300-0 I'm voting for that dude...

Childish, yes, but how else would you feel if you nominated someone for something like this and then someone "forgot" to put him on the poll......and instead of re-starting the poll you get a sorry you're SOL?

Curious....how does a player that has been nominated "make the cut"?

Joel Johnson, WR Ingleside
9-191 ??? TD's (anyone have this info?)

Major piece of the puzzle in a huge 35-34 win over Orange Grove to take control of the 30-3A race.

Joel only had one TD on fumble return.

These are the actual stat for Carlo Dominguez from Raymondville:

Rushing: 9-95 yards 2TD's
Passing: 9-15-0 250 yards 4 TD's
only played 3 quarters

I'd feel like doing a "write-in" vote???

The poll was already started, people had already voted... so let's say these people's votes get deleted and they don't show back up to re-vote, how would you feel then?

Basically just "write-in" the vote, that would have been understandable...

and dear lord, don't quote "forgot" like it was some mass conspiracy to piss off valley-folk... he was mentioned in the thread as a choice, should have just wrote him in... that's not injured's fault you guys didn't do that too, is it???

in private, some people agreed before the POtW's started to help pick who should be on the poll... like a poll before the poll maybe... atleast that was what was supposed to happen, sure it's that way...

let's see the conspiracy claims on this one...

Could you cry just a little bit more? If your kid didnt make the poll last week or what ever week it was they didnt have good enough numbers.

His numbers were as good or better than the ones that made the poll. He was nominated, seconded, thirded, fourthed, and fifthed.
