Cards beat Detroit 4-2, win WS 4-1.

That's a nice target for the Astros to shoot for when they're assembling talent this off season.

Yes, I was interested. Iwas pulling for the Tigers though. Oh well

I guess though since I went to HS Football the last 2 nights, that shows what is more important to me!

I didn't even know it was going on until 3 games into it. And I should have never known becuase I hate the Cards. Wanted the Tigers to win.

It was the Cards turn to win this one! Detroit beat the Cards in the 1968 series.

Thank God! I was getting tired of a lack luster World Series taking most of the air-time on Sportscenter. Only one more night of this crap!

If Astros had taken care of business the last day of the season it might have been them. As it was I didn't even know it was over till today. :)
Thank goodness! Now the sports stations can get back to soccer and hockey and football. :)
