It's funny how time flies this time back in 1986 I was only a sophomore at Sinton High

The Sinton Pirates sealed it's district title with a victory over the Kenedy Lions with a score 47-0 at Lion Stadium

Soul Man and Trick Or Treat were released at Theathers

While Bon Jovi- You Give Love A Bad Name, Eddie Money- Take Me Home Tonight, Cameo- Word Up, Janet Jackson- When I Think Of You, and Lisa Lisa Cult Jam - All Cried Out were climbing the music charts

   So long ago Funny how music really changed Do any of you remember this when you were in high school this time 20 yrs ago?

My goodness, that brought back memories. And all not good either!! Good stuff & we are now officially old. I am right there with you, Class of '89.

The '80s music & styles left a lot to be desired, IMO. But we had lots of fun too.

22 years ago, October of 1984, San Patricio County (Sinton and Odem) suffered the worst flood ever resulting from 27 inches of rain that fell in 4-1/2 hours. Only time in my life I ever saw water over Hwy.77 in Odem.

My wife saw a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix float up and flip over into the ditch right at the curve going into Odem, right after she and a passenger got out of it through the driver side window.

That's crazy considering how flat this area is. I can see that in flash-flood crazy SA but not here.:D Don't forget we had another flood six months later almost as bad.;)
.
In '86 I had just finished my Sophomore year.
