I've updated the probability percentages to reflect the most recent ratings that were just released... changes to the playoff projection include:

They are now predicting Liberty to be favored to beat Shepherd which would put Liberty in for the 3rd playoff spot and take Shepherd out in Dist. 22.

They are also now predicting that Needville is just barely favored over Wharton, which would put Dist. 24 into a 3-way tie for first with Wharton, Needville and Sweeny all 6-1. If that were to occur, Needville would still be Division I but Wharton and Sweeny would go down to whatever point differential tiebreak the district uses to determine who gets the top seed in Division II.

There were no other changes to my previous playoff projection for Region III.

In reference to the recent post stating West Columbia will beat Needville.... if they do, they would still become the heavy favorite to grab the Division I playoff spot over Needville whether Needville beats Wharton or not.....

Looks like LH will play winner of WOS-Giddings game in the quarters. Then whoever wins that one will face Wimberly or Cuero in the Semis. If there are no supprises.

Would be cool if the finals were LH vs Sweetwater in D2. Two ground pounders goin the distance, to hush up the "u gotta balance ur offense nay sayers". ("if it aint broke dont fixit"):)

Why don't we just send you the trophy now and not waste time playing the games. "If there are no surprises" is a big if. LH will have to go 4 rounds to meet the winner in the upper bracket be it Giddings, WOS or whoever. How many chickens do you have now? Plenty can happen in the playoffs.:(

It was more than a prediction, it was your underlying assumption that LH would automatically be in the 4th round. It is quite likely they will but if you go posting it like it is a done deal folks will call you on it. Nothing girlish about pointing out someone's pompous remarks. Try a little humility it might look good on you.

La Grange is not yet asured o play-off spot, A Bellville loss to Giddings, and a loss to Caldwell, the Leps stay at home.
Dont say that is unlikeley because it could Happen. I have seen Caldwell play and my oppinion thay are a better team that LG.

True, the Leps haven't clinched and I'm not posting about who they might play if they do make the playoffs. You're entitled to you opinion as to who is better, Caldwell or La Grange for what it is worth. That and 99 cents will get you a chicken sandwich at Jack 'N the Box.:D

It was more than a prediction, it was your underlying assumption that LH would automatically be in the 4th round. It is quite likely they will but if you go posting it like it is a done deal folks will call you on it. Nothing girlish about pointing out someone's pompous remarks. Try a little humility it might look good on you.

Isnt this very thread based prediction and assumption (ie region 3 play off projections ???). Just projecting a little further than the brackets on the page. Im plenty humble, but have confidence in the young men in purple and gold (as does our community). I know no team is looked passed , cause you get beat down if you do. We focus on the battle at hand, while striving for the ultimate goal. I know every team in the play offs can catch fire and go the distance. Just having fun, I knew I would get someone ruffled puddy ole boy......;) No fence and none taken, just having fun.
