About 15 years ago I was doing an audit of the La Salle County Appraisal District in Cotulla, Texas. They shared a building with the Cotulla ISD and was next to a school. As I audited it I heard great band music coming from one of the school buildings. (Cotulla is known for having great bands). Anyway I commented to one of the workers how great they were and imagine my surprise when she said that it was the junior high band. They played better than a many good high school bands I have heard. They were awesome. It was great. At the end of the day I finished up what I needed for the audit and drove out of town eastward toward Sinton.
