No way am I crying. I LOVE the Halo franchise but unless PJ was given complete control, I didn't have much faith that they wouldn't mess it all up anyway. Look at what they've done with the upcoming live action Transformers movie. *shudder* Besides, with Jackson doing this flick, it'd just taken even MORE time away from him doing what he REALLY needs to be working on. The Hobbit!

Are they making The Hobbit into a movie? That is my favorite Tolkien book. I enjoyed it way more than the Lord of the Rings books.

If so, when will it be released?

nope, Speilberg & Michael Bay are on it. While I trust those two....what we've seen thus far as far as robot modes are quite horrid.

As for the Hobbit....it is supposed to come to light as PJ wants to make TWO movies for it and basically create "filler material" to do so...I"m all for it! I just wanna see Smaug on the big screen along w/ the huge battle at the end!
