I can't take my homer cap off, I really do think that we give the Longhorns a run for their money in Austin. I don't think the Horns are as good, but they are beatable by the Aggies. Granted the aggies will be having to play out of their mind that day to win that game.

I think this game will be closer than everyone thinks, as long as A&M plays well, they should be able to keep it close. Im not sayin we will win, I am just sayin it wont be a blowout.

What are the Big XII bowl bids? Aren't they:

1. Fiesta
2. Holiday
3. Cotton
4. Sun
5. Alamo
6. GalleryFurniture.net (it may be called something else these days)


I know that it's not necessarily in the order that they finish the season, it's just the order in which the bowl gets to pick the team.

I think A&M gets handed a loss by Baylor and finishes Big XII play with losses to Tech, BU and UT. On the other hand, I think they pull it off against a couple of teams they "shouldn't" in Nebraska and and OU.

They finish the year 9-3 and get picked by the Board over the Cotton Bowl over Tech and OU (huge fan base that's willing to travel=huge revenues) while Nebraska gets the invite to the Holiday Bowl.

Oh, and BTW it'll be another Cotton like the one two years ago for the Ags. Some of the teams from the SEC that are in the running are:

-LSU
-Florida
-Arkansas
-Bama
-Tennessee

Every one of those teams, except MAYBE Bama, is completely out of A&M's league.

Texas got the break they needed to win a big game in a hostile environment. Colt makes steady plays....nothing flashy.

A&M showed a lot of heart to drive the field and even up the score. Good to see a&m win some close games this year.

Are you kidding? Id love to travel to San Diego. Although Cotton Bowl means we are second in the big 12 or third if two make it to BCS(doubtful). Either way Im happy.:D
