Manor runs into some real competition Friday night. They lack the horses to stop the LG offense with the Leopard O line dominating the line of scrimmage. Look for Anderle to break one open and watch for the big pass plays. The LG offense will win this one big.

La Grange 23, Manor 20 (but don't be surprised with an upset).

Most likely LG is going to win, but you never know.
I say LG by 2 TD's
Smitville vs Giddings
Giddings by at least 3 TD's
GO BUFFS GO

Yo, Pud -- I'm not from Manor, but I've got to give them some props. I agree that LaGrange is going to put up some points in this one, but Manor has a pretty good offense this year. One of their kids is averaging almost nine yards a carry, and another one has already scored 52 points this year.

I look for a high-scoring game. LG 42-28.

Manor 13I do not see this as being a high scoring game. I believe Manor does have the horses (nice choice of words Pudlugger) on defense. Defense is what this team is built on. IMO yardage up the middle is going to be hard to come by. #77 Purnell (unblockable), #51 Jackson and #59 Hooker can hold their own with the best of them. #10 Bryan Tarvin MLB is probably the most underrated in the state. He fills holes with a quickness and definitely brings the wood. Manor's quickness on the the D-Line will pressure on the QB in the pocket. Team speed and constant pressure on defense creates the opportunities for an offense that has yet to truly find itself with the new system. (P.S. Don't let #21 Davis find a hole because it will surely be six.) Hold on to the ball and La Grange may make a game of it. Fold under the pressure and its over early.

With a week of to heal a few injuries and home field, I think these Mustangs are ready to to roll.

Good scouting report there Mustang89. I'll be sure to focus on #77, he sounds like a hoss. I'll probably get a report from one or two guys who line up across from him as well. It sounds like the Leps are in for a good game. They also have rested and healed up and one or two guys will be back who missed last weeks game with minor injuries. Let's hope for an injury free and clean contest. Go Leps! :)

Just curious but how is Manor holding up in terms of the flu and inelegility problems? A couple of LG players have had the flu this week and a second string lineman is inelegible for grades. Hopefully everyone will be healthy for this game tonight.

BTW how did the Freshman and JV do last night? I heard LG was leading in both games but don't have final scores.

Manor did not lose any players because of grades.

Freshman score: LG 36 to 0 ( I made it to LG in the 4th quarter)

JV score: LG 12 to 6 (Lot's of turnovers on both sides. A very sloppy game.)
