Motley County or Crosbyton score? (not really Panhandle, though)

Sure they are, especially Matador ;)
since I switched to satellite TV, I lost the Amarillo tv station. the Lubbock stations leave a lot to be desired. haven't seen mention of a Motley-Crosbyton or a single 3A game on any Lubbock station tonight.

Tulia 28, Amarillo Bushland 14
Canadian 29, Spearman 7

BTW, I was surprised by how bad Childress whomped Littlefield.
This is almost the same Wildcat team that gave Sweetwater a pretty good tussle in last year's playoffs. That QB from Childress is going to be a good D-1 prospect.

Well, crap! New Deal & Hale Center were the teams to beat when I was in school and it seems not much has changed. :( Thanks for the score! :)

I believe all the 3A four team districts were off this week.

Crosbyton did well to hold New Deal to 21 points and to hang a score on them... most of the New Deal games are more like 45-0 so far this year. They beat Ralls 50-0 last week.

I don't know what their mascot is, or Grape Geek's either, so I just took a guess. But the scores are real.

You're right about that Childress score, that was a mild upset. I know Littlefield has some hosses in the backfield and didn't they come into this game undefeated?

VWG, LF was undefeated. and in fact, I think only 1 team managed to score in double digits against them, when they beat Idalou 28-21.
Last night's game was at LF, so I really thought they would win by about 7 or so. Childress had 454 yards rushing, and very few pass attempts-- they ran right over the top of the Wildcats, who had only 190 yards rushing... got shut down. Childress is lookin for real in 2A. Darn glad they will go DII in the playoffs, so da Mules don't collide with them.

Kid is one hell of a HS QB. He's only about 5'5" or 5' 6" though. He'll never even get contacted by a DI school. Too short.
