Marlin, you had the guts to take on Ennis when others wouldn't. Hold your heads up. You will get your act together for district.

Hang in there Marlin things are going to come around. You guys have played the best of the best and you will be the better for it in the playoffs. And you will be in the playoffs. For those who have not seen this team play. They have many athletes and will make some noise.

I definitely have to take my hat off to teh Marlin Bulldogs. I don't care what their record is, I am still convinced that this is a Top 10 ranked team in class 3A. They could very easily be 3-2 w/ their only two losses coming to 3A and 4A #1's. They will win their district and go into the playoffs as the best 6-4 team in the state. They have too much gut, grit, and TEAM SPEED to be counted out. This is still a championship contender.

Ouch - is Ennis really that good? They've come a long way since I lived near Dallas in the early 90's. That's gotta be their biggest marginal win in years.

i, for one, am not surprised at all about the score. i picked teh game to be 63-3 and was pretty close on that. Ennis has had that game circled on their calendar for 51 weeks and you can bet that they weren't going to let it be remotely close to last season. Marlin has been beat up in predistrict and Ennis is one of the premier teams in the state of Texas, all classifications. They are also led by the premier quarterback in the entire state in Graham Harrell. Marlin is not overrated, they are a very good football team and they will prove that when the playoffs come around.
