w/ 4th & 1 from the 4, Hutto goes for it & scores on a run from Shiloh Wampler......less than 30 seconds to go in the half. PAT no good, Hutto up 20-17. Hippos get the ball back first I believe

'preciate it! I tell u....IF Rockdale could play 4 full quarters they'd be quite the team but they seem to either a)break down 2nd half after playing a close 1st or b) come out slow (like against China Spring) and pick up too little too late. Congrats to Hutto on the win!

Rockdale put up a good fight for the 1st half. Penalties were KILLING the Hippos. Hutto stops Rockdale on 2 different series on 4th down. Hutto gets penalized both times to keep the Tigers scoring drive alive. I bet Hutto had over 100 yards in penalties ALONE!!!!! Defense was suspect to the pass. #1 WR for the Tigers was a beast. Hutto's run defense was awesome!! Rockdale couldn't stop Hutto's offense. Hutto had 7 possessions all 7 for TD's. Hippos didn't punt all night!!! Good luck to the Tigers the rest of the year.

thanks for the input ILS, Hutto sounds like the longhorns. Great run d and a suspect passing d. Lucky for us the next team on our schedule likes to run alot. Lets get it done this time, go hippos!

This must have been a great game to watch. Rockdale scratched and clawed their way to almost pull of the upset. The Tigers never give up but those pesky Hippos just wear you down. Congrats to the Hutto Hippos, everybody's favorite second team (home comes first of course).:D

Rockdale will be good for the next few years. Those freshmen and jv kids are looking good. Good luck rockdale in your next game

They had nothing to lose. They went for it everytime on 4th down. They were even successful on a onsides kick and eventually score (thanks to a Hutto penalty) to go up before the half. But they left too much time on the clock for the Hippos with 1:08 left till half. Hutto drove 68 yards in about :45 seconds to lead at half!!!

I had to work late last night and only got to listen to the game on the radio. The Tigers just couldn't stop the Hutto Offense last night. The Tigers are a really gutty team that never gives up. Two games left on the Tiger schedule.

Next up the Ducks....................

Not a long-winded response on my take of the game. Both teams played hard, and Hutto's offense simply outpowered Rockdale's defense. I think that Rockdale played tough all game and never left anything to question. I'm proud of you guys, I didn't see anything that you all could have done differently. Two more weeks to show that you deserve to keep playing, so make the most of it, these are the memories that you will carry with you a lifetime.
