I wonder if he really plans on sticking around that much longer, or if this is a way to assure recruits that he'll be around throughout their stay at Tech (even though he may hang it up before 2012.)

Bobby Knight is the best thing to happen to Tech basketball in a long time, possibly ever since Gerald Meyers. He puts them on the map.

The man can coach, period. He may be a horse's rear at times, but the man knows basketball & gives them instant credibility.

He also has it set up for his son Pat to take over for him when he decides to retire. THe Big 12 has some serious basketball coaches with Barnes, Gillispie, Knight, Huggins, etc.
