I might be wrong about this but I bet he did not have to sit out a couple of weeks before he played. Private schools should not be apart of UIL.

I'm sorry, I don't get the point that 'tree8400" was trying to make or what "mwynn05's" point was either.

Private schools are part of the TAPPS association and not the UIL...way different rules.

Did I miss something in that article?? Maybe I need to re-read it...I didn't see anything that made me think they were trying to get into the UIL!

Wouldn't be unheard of. Strake Jesuit made the jump a few years back.

I remember that, I still didn't see in that article where they made that indication.

But isn't Strake Jesuit bound by the rules of the UIL? And didn't they HAVE to play at the 5A level, no matter what size of school they were??

I remember all that happening, just don't remember the particulars.

Wow this post really isnt all that hard to comprehend...I believe he is saying this is why private schools should not be allowed to join the UIL...The UIL was forced to let the 2 private schools that are members to join...
