Career TD passes..... all are playing D-1 ball, except for Chandler Dane. That still surprises me that nobody, not 1-AA, D-II, nobody gave Dane a chance to play football.

Good to see that Kinne wised up, or his coach did, and quit running so much. Size and talent like that does not need 1,200 yards rushing a year. 80-90 at this point in the season is a sign of a maturing quarterback and an offense that knows its identity.

It's the sign of an offense that has eight or nine kids at receiver who could start for any team in the state. Justin Johnson is one helluva RB, and GJ also has shown some wheels. But if you can throw the ball to a guy who is just going to outrun everyone and not take a hit, why let players on your team take punishment? Throw the ball! It seems to be working.

8 or 9 for any team in the state..I am assuming you mean 3A..but either way it must be nice to have all that talent in one small town.

a lot of baylor fans care. I saw on a Baylor fans site if Gilmer makes it to state they're all gonna go watch and support him

I'm not trying to knock this in any way, but how do we know the statistics of ANY high school QB, RB, WR, etc.—past, present or future—are accurate.

I can see how it would be difficult to inflate the number of TDs, but as for yardage, that would be very easy to manipulate.

I have even seen people on this board try to say that a "shovel pass" is actually a running play because the ball, even though going forward, is caught behind the line of scrimmage. If that were the case, almost all screen passes would have to be reclassified as running plays. Of course, this would have the opposite effect of "inflating" Kinne's yardage.

I don't think there is a staff at the UIL which verifies this. It must rely on the stats coaches provide. If I'm wrong about this, someone please correct me.

u can only figure out potential from highschool, there is no way to ever know exactly how well he will do in college until he gets there....he seems to have good potential and hopefully for Kinne Jr. and Baylor fans he lives up to it...

Because if the UIL had any backbone Kinne would be watching from the sidelines as has many other athletes who transferred for athletic reasons.
