It now appears that Texas will win the south, but 2nd place is anyones for the taking. Who will take 2nd in the South?

I hate to say this, but the way Tech has been playing, 4th might be asking too much, unless something drastic happens. :(

Texas wins the south and a&M is second!! I hope A&M is 10-1 the day after thanksgiving so that will be another ranked opponet Texas will have beaten!!!

It would take alot for A&M to finish 2nd, they have the strongest remaining schedule.

I agree, A&M got a big win last weekend, but they are a middle of the pack team in this weak Big 12. Only two games on the Big 12 schedule that weren't winnable games were UT and OU, but now that changes with AD going down. Baylor may be favored in all 5 remaining games (exception may be OU, will depend on if they self destruct in the next month).

Yall have to be kidding, Baylor will not get second, Tech has a better shot, so does A&M, and so does OU.

Tech's played like crap the past few weekends, but I think it's an abberation. They'll get things together.

5. (t) Okie State
5. (t) Baylor

Baylor beats A&M, but loses to OSU. OSU loses to everyone except Nebraska from here on out.

Only reason im not mad about you sayin Baylor beats A&M is because somehow Baylor always plays great against us. If A&M beast Baylor, they get 2nd

Absolutely. But Baylor could have the worst team in college football and still hang with the Ags.

yah too bad the bears only play well against the ags :rolleyes: i mean gee, the rest of our games dont even matter and thats the only one we care about winning...gotta beat those pesky ags :rolleyes:

i hope the rest of the teams think that this year when we play them....this baylor team is a lot better than anything we have had since the big 12 started and the big 12 itself is a lot worse than before....will the bears get 2nd? probably not...will baylor only win one more game? probably not....

sorry it aggravates me when some aggies think we only play football against them for some strange reason....our best game of 2004 was against the aggies however last year we played the aggies a good game but we did the same w/ every other big 12 team other than Texas...

yeah Bulldog we still lost to Army so we are going to lose the rest of the games 42-0, however we will play equally bad in all games no matter what jersey the other team is wearing....

oh...wow yah i completely misread your original post...sry sleep deprivation does things to your mind....you are right we do play well against the aggies....however this year it wont be enough, 42-0 loss thats the best we can do against anyone...im telling yall the bears go 0-5 from here on out, we lost to army....like bulldog_12 said worst team ever....

Didn't mean it like that at all. All we were saying is that Baylor plays 'up' to A&M no matter how good A&M was. I remember in 2004, the Ags were like 6-1 and ranked like 15th or something heading into the game against you. There was talk that if they beat you guys then ESPN Gameday would be in College Station for the OU game.

Then a Baylor squad which was 2-5 and had losses against Alabama-Birmingham and barely beat Texas State came in and beat A&M.


EDIT: I see this post was unnecessary now. Awesome.:thumbsup:

I'm hoping A&M, but wouldn't be surprised by any of the others, except OSU.

Texas needs A&M-CS to win out, balloon their ranking, and then Texas take care of business for the BCS standings. Good Call!!!

Not really, considering we are in conference play now. Texas needs their non-conference opponents to be successful.
