McMurry must drop "Indians" , yet Florida St. keeps "Seminoles" because they honor the tribe and have their "blessing". Several million $ in merchandising doesn't hurt either.

Opinions? Is the NCAA getting too "politically correct" or are they justified in what they're doing?

I didn't think it was the NCAA's place to step in. I know that growing up I always enjoyed going to McMurry during their homecoming week as they would have their indian village set up and kids were able to learn a lot about the native american culture and, more specifically, how it played a role in early Abilene.
