What team in your district is predicted to be going Div 1 and who will be going Div 2?

District 29 - Wide open at this point.. All depends on 1-6 Gonzales - the 1 victory is a District game -

Greenwood goes DII no matter what as the smallest school in the district (assuming we make the playoffs).

Andrews will go DI of they get a playoff spot.

That leaves Snyder and Lamesa. I think I read if were Lamesa, Greenwood and Snyder....then Snyder would go DI.

I think after Gonzales' victory, they have got to be the odds on favorite to get one of the two remaining playoff spots behind Cuero. So I predict Gonzales D1, Cuero and Yoakum D2.

Cuero going D2 can give everyone a Cuero/Wimberly match-up (rematch of '04 round two)... I think getting out of Region 4 in D2 for sure goes through Wimberly...

I think getting out of Region 4 D1 goes through Hondo...

Looks like sweeny and wharton will go div 2 (both are still undefeated in district 3-0) play in 2 weeks.

West columbia (1-2) or needville (2-1) will go div 1. they play in 2 weeks i think.

They're in a 5 team district so all they need is another win over Palacios. I think Gonzales might be the only 2-8 team ever to make the playoffs!

District 18 will depend upon Taylor. If they make the playoffs, they'll be D1; if not, then it will be Hutto.

In 30-3A; Ingleside will represent DI. It's a toss up at this point on who will represent DII. Probably OG and I'd like to say Sinton, but we'll know more after this week.

actually, we are a 5 team district but you are right, they could go to the playoffs witha 2-8 record.. I think Yorktown did that 3 years ago (playoffs witha 2-8 record) ........ the last year Rusty Buzzard was the coach there..

District 7-3A
DI-Wylie is the pick
DII-Sweetwater & Breckinridge or Clyde.

District 7 3A-

Abilene Wylie DI
Sweetwater D2

The third place team is up for grabs between Breckenridge and Clyde.

Of course this is all speculation, but I think most people would agree with me.

This would put Abilene Wylie and Decatur on track to play each other round one the playoffs, rematch of '04.

Sweetwater will possibly play Sanger or Argyle

19-3A is looking like

Palestine - D1

Madisonville - D2 #1

Palestine Westwood - D2 #2 (but the bottom 4 are close and anyone of them could get that last playoff spot)

D30 yes Ingleside is almost a given as Div 1 rep and the other two spots could go down to the last week. OG i think will have tough time winning against AP,Mathis and West Oso and dont think they can beat Ingleside. Sinton lack of a good offense will play all the games close and only if the offense can put enough points they can get one of the playoff spots.

But Fairfield were not looking like were going to make it Groesbeck is looking like 0-2 is in there future which is never good so maybe the Panthers get in bc Mexia is 1-0 in district but there not really too strong this year

Celina will definately go DII. They are the second smallest team in a eight team district. Possible matchup will include Wills Point or Quinlan Ford. My money's on Wills Point. Royse City and Emory Rains will be the other teams out of 10 3A, and Celina is in 9A. Royse City will be DI out of 10 3A, but Celina will be DII. Hope this helps.

You are right as usually RM. It looks like Andrews in Division I, with Snyder and Greenwood in D2. The winner between Snyder and Greenwood would be the No. 1 seed in D2. Lamesa appears the odd team out at this point. They p lay Andrews in the first district game on Oct. 27.

That means Snyder or Greenwood either one will probably meet up with Monohans in Reg I.

Thats right. Monahans will get a bye for bidistrict and play the winner of the W3 and R4 bidistrict game for the area game in DII on Thanksgiving weekend.

who knows .. Palacios could surprise them.. although palacios scored on cuero due to poor tackling, that running back looked like he had some talent.. maybe he'll run wild..
