This was probably the best 3A game in the state this week. China Spring's Mike Hicks is a sophomore and if I can get ahold of his complete statline I'll nominate him for player of the week. He had 9 catches for 171 yards, scored 5 TD's and caught the game winner in the final 15 seconds on 3rd and goal. Three of his TD's were on the ground so I'll try and find a China Spring fan on the centex board who can get ahold of his rushing stats.
La Vega's best player, RB Kourtney Parr, is a FRESHMAN who ran for 140 yards and scored his 13th touchdown of the season last night. He's a freshman for crying out loud playing like an upperclassman!
