don't ask me how we let them stay in the game.. but when our coach puts in a horrible qb that can't do nothing that's how we play..but as soon as #7 went in... our game was much better.....maybe the coach will start playing him more!!! yes, Smithville does suck!*!

Caldwell took Smithville lightly.Caldwell grew as a team last night. They came together half way through the third quarter when Caldwell found a new QB & RB. eek!

My hats off to the Smithville football team and their fans. The stands were full on the home side and they supported the team like it was 3-0 not 0-3. The football team played with a lot of determination they gave it all they had but come up short. Hang in their guys keep putting forth an effort like last night and good things will happen. Keep your heads up good luck on the rest of yawl's games.

I think it's time that everyone including myself which I was guilty of quit singling out Smithville. I agree their stands were full and you have to hand it to a community that stands tall for their home team in good AND in bad. If they play with as much heart as they did Friday, they could win a game or two (Hutto is not out of the question). We all can be Saturday morning armchair quarterbacks because their are no bruises or hurt feelings involved.

To Smithville players and fans: I hope one day we can all look back on this and say "look at you now." We have all been victims of personal attacks and it's never fun when you keep asking yourself "where did I go wrong?"

We should all find more constructive things to do with our time.

Good luck to you Smithville - and quit attacking EACH OTHER. I think that's where the initial problem lies - the blame game.

I hope Caldwell did grow as a team. In looking back, I think it was a team giving 60 percent waking up and overcoming a team giving 110 percent. The scoreboard should have read: Caldwell - 21, Smithville "heart" - 11.

I should'nt have said that smithville sucks. But they are in fact a horrible football team right now. I've seen them play and caldwell. The Caldwell team definitley has some scary talent at times. I don't know why they cant' make it work there. As for smithville, i just couldn't see how it was possible to hold them to 21 much less score even 11. I'm not trying to trash them by saying this it's just my opinion from my own expieriences. :D

Look Caldwell and Smithville played an awesome game. On Saturday, I talked with one of teh Senior Caldwell football players. He said that the main problem was that they did infact go into the game with the mind set that Smithville was an underdog. They matured a lot from this game and

I'm looking forward to seeing what both teams can do in the future.
