Great game by both sides. Liberty Hill was a tough team that has a top notch running game. They even scored on a pass on us. The young Tigers were missing a 2-way starter on the line but just like in the past someone stepped in and played great.

Liberty Hill was a blast with concession stands on both sides for the kids serving burgers and snacks. My 11 yr old sure liked it. Great people and we had a blast.

I talked to one of our freshman's dads last night. He said there are a couple of VERY good players that we just couldn't stop. # 22 was one of them....I think the other was # 15.

Hey LHP MOM,

Both of those kids are great young men. The freshman are a good bunch of kids that play where ever \ when ever they are needed. They just get it done and if someone is out-moved up-or what ever the guy that fills in just makes plays.

Last night we were talking and the freshman were missing our starting QB\Safety and our best Offensive lineman\DT. The WB is on the varsity and our lineman had a toe nail removed this week.

hutto fish are 5-1 and jv are 4-2 both are good. the fish are big ave about 210 across the line and have a 5'11 200 lb fullback , have a 6'3 t.e. thats about 210. d fense is streced a little thin with 4 players going both ways all d-line man over 6 foot inside linebackers are both 6 , our only weekness may be where a little slow. we beat a verry fast cameron with a back up center ,dt and a 3rd string fb. dont know much about j.v. but i herd there fast .

the fresmen lost to giddings 30-24 blew a 24-7 lead in th the forth on fumbles and conerback mis communication.,
yea he just brused them or somthng because i talked to him at the game and he seemed alrite.
he played for rockdale in 7th everybody calls him dookie. put some moves on us i have never seen , will be on varcity next year i bet

manor freshman 38......reagan raiders jv 18...

manor freshman already beat two jv teams this year by a combined scor of 90-18.......these manor freshman are good.......they are now 6-1.....5-0 in district......they lost to taylor in week 2 manor had all three starting running backs hurt and had the b team running backs in thats how they lost...also had 5 fumbles by the b team running backs..........next austin macallem freshman/jv combined...

Snyder JV won 24 to 18 over Canyon. Snyder jumped out early and the Canyon kids came back. This was a great game. Tigers were able to hang on to get the win. Canyon kids did not give up and played hard. Props to both teams.

Canyon Freshman won I believe 44 to 0.
That Canyon freshman group is very talented. One of the better freshman groups I have seen in a while.

no problem with grades....all 46 of the freshman players passed and all 32 varsity players passed ...only 1 jv player failed......manor would of beat hutto freshman this year...they are to fast....maybe 15 players from manors freshman team will be on varsity next year.......in manor its time for a coaching change i think...this coach runs only like 4 different playes and thats it.....

Manor is 4A and playing 4A schools so why are they playing JV squads? 3a and lots of 2A schools field fish & jv whats up with that?

you know how the austin schools are .....only a few kids actually wont to play football......so are jv only played 3 times this year....and the coach wanted the freshman to play the jv squads from the austin district.....its mostly freshman/jv combined in austin district.....manor has a freshman a and b team....they have a jv and a varstiy.....only crockett and lbj and has this...

So does the Freshman B team play or the JV I mean if most of these schools only have 2 teams(varsity, freshman, or varsity, jv-fish combo)

For those around the state not familiar with Austin area schools, the 4a schools as a rule are much weaker in football than the surrounding 3A schools. There are a few exceptions, but overall the 3A schools are MUCH stronger. So, if Manor is winning games against local 3A schools(I do not know who they have played, but from this thread that appears to be the case) then that would be more impressive than beating most of the 4A schools in the area.

Wonder how Xavier Canto has done for Caldwell on the JV level since being declared ineligible by UIL just for dual residency questions. Someone told me that he has scored half the time he's touched the ball on JV and it's like watching a grown man play with little kids.
