If they want to have good basketball have it or else otherwise admit that it is just for entertainment and rules are nothing.

If a ball is palmed then call the infraction.
If a travel is done then call the infraction.
If someone is knocked around then call the infraction.
In fact if anything is an inffraction call it fairly and consistently. Enforce the rules.

Enforce the rules and be consistent. Call it both ways. No favorites. If Kobe travels then call it. If Shaq does the foul then call it. People pay good money to watch good basketball. Good basketball means enforcing the rules fairly and consistently for everyone. No exceptions for "star" entertainer.

If it is entertaiment purposes advertise it as so. If it is for good basketball then do as I suggested.

Don't refer to the NBA champions as World Champions anymore. That honor is currently Spain's as they have won it on the court. The USA is not even in second place. Same as for our Women's Basketball.
