Here's a suggestion for you. Instead of keeping your bookmarks on windows, download google toolbar and use their bookmark service. It's hands down better. I just love it.

Ok Genius, if windows bookmarks are so great then why did he lose them??? Duh

The main selling point of google, is that you can import them from IE and they are yours forever. You can get a new computer or use somebody elses and all you have to do is download google toolbar and sign in and you have them.

I love mine. I can't see how I ever browsed without it. Page rank, bookmark service, autolink, spell check all built-in with, of course the handy Google search. It's amazing! Well maybe not amazing, but
it sure is handy. :cool:
