IMO... The Dad is PO'd and won't let the kid go get a $5.00 coke or ice cream etc... the photo was more than likely cut cut and doesn't show the Real Story... but still the same, poor kid!

you do realize that this is from the actual ABC broadcast right??? This isn't a photoshop job. I have it on my DVR if you wanna see it!

What does that have to do with anything? because you would then realize that laughing at a kid who happens to be crying isn't all that funny. If I was the kids dad I'd be pissed.

KTJ, I honestly don't think that picture is in any way funny. Guess it depends on maturity level.

No I am not saying it is photoshop....I think the "chop" shop is from the guy running the camera (or the guys in the truck!).... the kid ain't crying about the game...he/she is just using the "opportuninity" for a shot that will be posted... and I gueas the bottom line ....it was successful?

When they showed this kid during the game, I thought the exact same thing. He had probably just got told "No" about a corndog, or funnel cake, or drink.

I didn't think he was actually crying about the game!!

So what if the kid was crying? I cried in 1980 at 9 years old when the phillies beat my 'Stros. It made me really appreciate last year when they finally made it to the world series. When Oklahome football get's back on track and wins some big games he'll appreciate it a little more.

i thought that it was in bad taste to show a picture like that.

i would bet that the kid was upset about the game....but i dont know.

as soon as i saw it....i thought...man ABC sure is sorry for showing that kid...but oh well.

i personally think its hilarious. the assertion that there is hate between Texas and "up-there" is very true. IMO we are protecting the wrong border...we need to move them from the Rio Grande to the red river and keep out the single stem family trees.:D

I laughed at this picture. I can remember crying as a little kid about the Horns losing. esp in 6th grade when i was in the hospital and they lost to Georgia in the Cotton Bowl because of the muffed punt. I was heartbroken.

Yes, I found a pic on another website and I decided to share. Me running to 3ADL was exactly what I was doing.


Great job there. You caught me. From now on, I'll never post another pic because of your recent theory. Kinda like you running to 3ADL to post the highlights of Aggies.
