I was in Temple Friday night and they finished the installation of a jumbotron at the High School field at halftime. I was wondering how many schools have jumbotrons (not cities or school districts that are shared) just a high school field for one school.

ROFL! No jumbotron here. It would be bigger than our visitors' stands. :D  Maybe even home.... :(

Yea, the whole first half was partial screens of Windows and other computer information with the cursor flying around. They had ladders and lifts behind the scoreboard and about 10 guys working on stuff. Just at the beginning of the halftime show, up pops the picture and it worked the rest of the game. I think they started the installation on Monday of last week.

Canyon High School/Randall High School got one this year, it is pretty cool!! West Texas A&M shares our football field so we do get little perks here and there.;)

I may have to spend the night in the stands before next years Cuero game over there!!!!!
Maybe it will be moved to Hays or the Palace!!
I can't imagine the stands next year, I was there for the JV and Fresh games and couldn't believe that a school with your tradition had such small bleachers, even the home side

Why did Temple wait until halftime to start the Jimbotron up? I got there in the 2nd quarter and was a little puzzled.

I saw replay boards at Round Rock and at Cy-Fair ISD this year so far.

I saw replay boards at Round Rock and at Cy-Fair ISD this year so far. I think they were working on the wiring on the camera's and board. They had just installed the actual jumbotron the day before. I read the article in the Temple Daily Telegram.
