Sweetwater and Wylie in the Ft Worth area? I can see them wanting to do that if they actually were TRYING to sell newspapers in Abilene or Sweetwater but hey are not. The only daily paper you can get in abilene is the Abilene paper. The DMN pulle dout saying ti wasnt cost effective but if you can ship papers to lampasas, tx you can ship them to Abilene. The real reason is liked to the monolpoly Skinnys Corporation. They are in a contract to sell only the Abilene Reporter News and no other daily publication. When you own every corner in Abilene you can make deals like that and run people out of town as they did with the DMN.

and the USA Today. I used to buy the USA Today almost every day at the Skinny's by my house buy in 2002 they switched to only the ARN. I wasn't very happy about that.

Yeah...funny how they include Wylie/Sweetwater as "in their area" in 3A but they leave out Windthorst (50 mi to Decatur) and Roscoe (10 mi to Sweetwater) in tne 2A/A poll.
