Wow...pretty impressive. It will be a heck of a game if Cuero goes D1!!! It just might happen! Just maybe....

Very true, CueroDad. Len Thompson is definitely our "go to" guy in the passing game. I suspect things will spread out a bit as teams gear up to stop him. But then, we have a good running game too, like you guys (well, not AS GOOD as you guys...not yet!). Tell me what you think about the D1 vs. D2 chances of Cuero are!

Its all really up for grabs
Gonzales is the biggest school in our distric
Cuero is second biggest

From what has happen so far it "looks" like
Cuero
Yoakum
and 3 way battle for 3rd
Gonzales - Palacios - Goliad

Thats what I've heard...and that Gonzales is 0-6? Is that right?

0-6 is right

I'm sure you know why I have so much interest....NOT having Cuero in the D2 bracket changes things drastically...not only for us, but for the D1 guys too!

We would love to play yall, would really be a good game I am sure.
If I was to bet on it we both will be D-2
Bandera and Gonzales will make it.

I have no doubt Bandera will make it...it's Gonzales that has everyone wondering.

gilmer has played 5 games and cuero has played 6 games. if quincey wasnt hurt cuero could probably have 3 receivers in the top 10. but gilmer's stats really dwarf cuero's at this point.

Quincy really is the gamebreaker for Cuero.... He bailed them out and kept it close in a lot of games as a sophmore last year, and he even ran the ball some this year.
Can't wait till he gets back.... he has such a great attitude at practice and the games despite his injury by keeping everyone excited and encouraging the JV guys that are gonna get a chance to play this week.

Cuero is pretty balanced offensively. Does Gilmer have the running game to go along with the passing game like Cuero does or are they a predominant passing team? Also T. Gray would have alot more yards had he not been sidelined with an injury.

How is Curtis Brown doing with his injury?

Any QB in the state of Texas could have Kinne's numbers if they were all allowed to transfer to wherever the best athletes are. The UIL sucks. Pardon my language.

I don't really care where Kinne plays and maybe this has been said, but why, if your dad coaches at Baylor, would you move farther away. He was from Canton, wasn't he?

I don't know the whole situation but he was being threatened pretty bad at Canton. I think his mother(not certain) lives in Gilmer. I think that is the story line.
