SMU receiver Emmanuel Sanders last week's TD catch was his fourth of the season and his fourth consecutive game with a TD catch. This ties the SMU record for consecutive games with a TD reception with Emmanuel Tolbert in 1977 and Jerry LeVias in 1966. Sanders is a former star player from Bellville. Congratulations and good luck "Mad Ball" and lets break that record. See ya at the Rice game.

Told us early in the spring that he would start. He doesn't seem to have any problems taking his game to the next level. We may some day watch him on Sunday.

From the SMU website:

Emmanuel Sanders set an SMU school record with a touchdown reception in his fifth straight game after catching a 3-yard score from Willis in the third. He led SMU with 62 yards on six receptions.

Congratulations!! You made Bellville & 3A football very proud.
