Were you in Poth in the 1990s. Poth had some great volleyball teams as did my alma mater Freer. The teams were in 2A.
I remember in 1994 Freer was able to beat Poth and went on and won State. From 1995 to 1997 both teams were great but Poth was able to beat Freer in great close games and went on to win state those years. I remember many people thought that those games those years were really the state championship games. It was a shame they were in the same region because it would have made great championship game endings.
Freer came on hard times after those years but Poth has won the past two straight championships the past two years.
They were fun years. I was just wondering if you were at Poth to enjoy them.
