I know next to nothing about Glen Rose, but Iam reasonably familiar with Hillsboro. With the caliber of athletes that school has had it amazes me how mediocre they are in football. I remember when they had Richuel and Donald Massey (Richuel went to SMU and younger brother Donald to TCU) a few years ago and all they could muster up was a 5-6 season and a 1st round playoff exit. I want to say that took place during Coach Erwin's last year there before moving onto LaMarque and winning a state championship the following season down there.

Do they still have good athletes at Hillsboro or is the cupboard dry down there now?

they have a few athletes left
but nothing like it was a couple years ago

also the numbers in the high school are down, only about 460 in the high school now

Hillsboro and Glen Rose are in probably the weakest dist.in the state .West who has defeated 2 2a teams and a private school along with a winless 3a should contend along with Kennadale .Hillsboro with little effort could make the playoffs .Hillsboro's teams the last few years have struggled to play 500 ball and will probably be the same this year.Venus should be a gift to everyone with Whitney ,Hillsboro, Glen Rose being a toss up .

lol idk anything about either of these teams except where they are on a map...Glen Rose is nnot that far from Cleburne..and Dinosaur Valley State Park is there and totally sweet toomight i add
