DALLAS (Big 12)- Stephen McGee (Texas A&M), Aaron Ross (Texas) and Leon Patton (Kansas State) have been named AT&T Big 12 Conference Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, as selected by a media panel. Each player is recognized for the first time.

Offensive Player of the Week: Stephen McGee, So, QB, Texas A&M (Burnet, Texas)

In Texas A&M's come-from-behind, 21-18, win at Kansas, quarterback Stephen McGee engineered a pair of 80-yard, fourth-quarter scoring drives for the Aggies. He led A&M on a 12-play drive in the closing minutes by converting three third down passes including a 35-yard strike to set up the game winning touchdown with 0:34 left. McGee completed 25-of-40 attempts, with no interceptions, for 240 yards.

Defensive Player of the Week: Aaron Ross, Sr, CB, Texas (Tyler, Texas)

Aaron Ross thwarted Oklahoma's comeback hopes with a fumble recovery return for a touchdown, and a pair of interceptions to end the Sooners' final two drives in Texas' 28-10 victory. His three-yard, fourth-quarter return of an OU lateral-pass provided the ‘Horns final margin. Ross also tallied four tackles in the contest.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Leon Patton, Fr, KR, Kansas State (Cedar Hill, Texas)

Leon Patton averaged 58.5 yards on two kick off returns, including a 95-yard touchdown return in helping to stake Kansas State to a 31-27 come-from-behind triumph over Oklahoma State. Patton established freshman records at K-State with 301 all-purpose yards and 151 rushing yards.
