What happened to the Bluejays Friday night vs. Sweeny? Didnt see a post on there. Thought they were suppossed to be the talk of that district Especially since they have the best coaches around...at least that is what they think...

They lost and still got Wharton and Columbia left on their schedule.

I am not sure how good they are this year, but they gave Liberty Hill a good, tough game last year. I do know this about their HC - he's turned around the programs he's been at.

Pretty sure their starting RB was out. And Sweeny is pretty good.

SAW NEEDVILLE PLAY COLUMBUS FEW WEEKS AGO AND I WASNT IMPRESSED. THEY ARE EXTREMELY AVERAGE. LOOK FOR THEM TO LOSE AT LEAST 2 MORE GAMES IN DISTRICT

needville plays physical. the teams that can push back will have some success with the bluejays.

still plenty of quality district games to be played.

Congrats to Sweeny. They were the better team.

well Sweeny is a pretty good team and so is Needville, but they still have to play Wharton and WC. Needville is a physical team and plays hard every snap dont know if thier RB would have made a difference Sweeny just had a better game

Sweeny won the ballgame, & what RB did not play for Needville? Thaddeus Wilkerson had 22 carries for 108 yds. last Friday night.

What am I missing? Sweeny's qb is playing hurt after injuring a shoulder in the 1st game & missing time. You play with who's available anyway. No excuses.

Guess I missed one carry! Point still the same - Wilkerson played & scored the only TD for the Jays. Good job Sweeny.

Thadeus Wilkerson isn't our tailback. He's our fullback. Our tailback is Taylor Ortega. He's been injured all year. He came back and played a couple plays but not significant time.

Nobody from Needville's making ANY excuses. Sweeny won. Period. Time to move on.
