Talent is unquestioned & highly recruited. Numerous recruiting services say he has grade issues that must be cleared up before next Fall. He could end up D1 or a sign & place kid in juco.

A&M has the Lufkin pipeline going right now (McNeal, Lane, Dixon recently) so we'll see. Not a speedster but at his best when the ball is in the air. Really goes & gets it. Great prospect no doubt.

E.J. Shankle, a true freshman WR at A&M is also from Lufkin.

Correct, I forgot Shankle & Kevin Bryan. So I guess 4 Lufkin boys right now on campus. Maybe Dez is next!
