Breckenridge, Needville and Palestine Westwood all had their first loss of the season this weekend

Giddings meets La Grange this coming week in a matchup of unbeatens

Hondo vs Devine and Rio Hondo vs La Feria are both Week 10 so there could potentially be a 9-0 vs 9-0 and 9-0 vs 8-0 matchup the last week of the regular season.

Just keep it up there, they will be 6-0 after friday night, and La Grange will drop from this list!

Now just because little ole La Grange is still undefeated and Bellville isn't, doesn't means ya must be hatin' on those high school boys like that...

I've seen them in the scrimmage against Cuero and they are a very good team that has made GREAT strides in becoming a power once again... I'd say from what I saw in our scrimmage against LG they're about 80% better than last year (just a rough estimate because I can)... they won't put 60 up on ya, but their defense is really solid... they'll keep getting better...

Now I know they're not playing those top-notch teams like Sealy or Houston St. Thomas or Houston Christian, but they've still earned every one of those wins just the same...

I personally do not believe they'll beat Giddings, just dunno about that one, but with this group of kids I'm saying they've got a shot at making it closer than most expect... they're a much improved ball-club with some size and some speed and FINALLY a different offense and defense that actually uses the individual talents of each of these players in the right manner...

good ball club though everyone knows they should be on some "not worthy but undefeated list" :rolleyes:
