The Lep defense gets its second shut-out in two weeks. The offense gave up 3 interceptions and had 3 holding calls which cost them on some drives. All in all a decent showing after a bye week looking ahead to the big game in Giddings. A couple of observations about this Luling team: they have excellent speed and a big tb that likes to hit the hole fast and hard. The Eagle secondary is very good at defending the pass and fast. The big problem for the Eagles is a small O line. They have several good athletes and in a 4 team district they should take 2nd behind La Vernia and make the playoffs. This was a very cleanly played game and hard hitting. Good luck to the Eagles next week against Bandera and in district.:)

This must be a very weak District, I bet most these teams or under 500.

Yes accept La Vernia who are legit. This will be a two team district: LV and Luling.

A District were 75% of the teams make the play-offs.
