It will be at its' peak at 10:13 P.M. I know it is football night but take time to witness this phenominal event. It is worth seeing indeed.

I thought for sure this was going to turn into... "watch out for those howling West Oso bears"

Good question. If the moon is 12% larger and no one is in the forest, does it make a sound?

Uh....wait.

Well, he didnt say the moon would be 12% bigger last night, or tomorrow night, so I was only concerned about tonight. Therefore, I do NOT stand corrected. :p
Besides, I saw one last night, and he only looked about 3 or 4% larger at best. :D

If this is true we could see some upsets. Like the Wolverines ripping up a Bobcat. ;)

This is all just silly now isn't it? The hairy creatures will NOT be 12% larger because of the moon. There will 12% more of them. Larger moon bring out more of the lupe geru in all of us.

No, but maybe if Pluto can be 12% larger it might get some love and be reinstated as a planet.

In looking at this thread, I've come to conclusion that it's friday afternoon and everyone is ready to go home. Just a hunch.

Phil C is having a Big Moon Sale!!! 12% more for your dollar! :D

btw: the moon only appears to be bigger when it is near the horizan because.....drum roll...there are objects in view on the ground to compare to. When the moon is above the horizan this relative perspective is lost. The moon does not get smaller as it rises or bigger as it falls. It is an allusion.
