By next week all teams in 3A will start district play. How do you think they will finish in your district now that we have 6 weeks of play completed to see the teams?

District 8-3A
1. Decatur
2. Sanger
3. Argyle

I haven't given up on my Bulls to make the playoffs---I just don't think we are favored over any of the above teams right now.

I agree with you on that. It could come down to the final week to determine who takes first, second, and third spots.

Raymondville
Zapata
Lyford

I leaning toward Raymondville on top and Zapata and Lyford duking it out for 2nd and 3rd

though i wouldn't mind seeing Fal sneak in and stealing a spot....especially if they stole Zapata's spot, Raymondville would go D1.

LOL, your hoping Andrews gets in I know. I dont blame you, I'd be wishing the same thing! In fact, we were a little worried about Wylie early on. Now I'm sure we dont have much to worry about, but yall are still gonna need Andrews to step up and do something.

If Gonzales could make the playoffs Rockdale needs to move to dist 29 Rockdale 30-7 over Gonzales and were picked last in dist 18

Come on over;).. all you have to do is relocate the whole town of rockdale and place it around.. idk.. between Goliad and Cuero. Then we'd gladly take you in the district

We are playing Rockdale to open distirct on friday. After playing wimberly and cuero we are due for a 70 point game with 600 yards of offense.

No, Gonzales is (0-6)!!!!

Here's district 29AAA?

Cuero (6-0)
Yoakum (3-3)
Palacious (2-4)
Goliad (2-4)
Gonzales (0-6)

Cuero should take the district with ease, Yoakum should be good for at least one playoff spot.....and the last one is up for grabs, I honestly don't know who the heck will take the last spot and send cuero either D1 or D2???

Yes, Cuero will win... Gonzales goes 1-9 this year and will get the booby prize for 29 AAA...:( Now that put us D1... I'm taking Palacios and ...well Yoakum, since they have Goliad at Bulldog stadium...the Bulldogs should win that one...Yoakum and Gonzales have to travel to Palacios and just maybe they(SHARKS) can get 2 victories there...who knows right now...they're pretty equal right now...

FIRST...not all teams start district next Friday or even the next...we play St. Thomas in Houston this Friday, then a week off, THEN district play (4 team district).

SECOND, are you serious about Gonzales not making the play offs???? That would be HUGE for Wimberley. If true, and Cuero goes D1, then it is a straight shot for us to be in the State semi-finals (in my humble opinion, of course!). I know about "looking past" a team..and the "any team on any given day" mantra...but I think its pretty clear who the 2 best teams in Region 4 are at the moment. Hondo would be the only serious competition.

I agree with this. I just don't know if Lamesa can pull it off over Andrews. If things stay as they have been...those two will be fighting for that 3rd spot...no telling what will happen in that game with the emotions running high!

just depends on how things pan out in District.. you know how High School football is.. anything can happen and does alot of the times lol........ will be interesting for sure......... just hope we get healthy and no one else gets hurt :) could be pretty interesting to have folks checking on who won between Palacios and Goliad or Yoakum and Gonzales to see who goes Div 1 in Dist 29....... strange how things work out sometimes...... I bet it comes down to Nov 3rd before we know........

I'm not gold, but Bandera would be Div 1 rep. And I seriously can't see that those three won't be the playoff teams. Ingram team was pretty much J. T. Aspra, who graduated.

Just think Gonzales might be able to pull something out of the bag

probably wrong but for the most part they did play a little tougher schedule than the other three teams and i might help down the road

i think that if Gonzo can beat Goliad...then they will be in.

I think that it will be Cuero
yoakum
and probably Goliad.

poor sharks....probably lose to all of those teams bad.
