This was on the LWISD website for everyone to be sure and read before our Oct. 19th game with Dallas Madison. Just doesn't seem like 3A football.
Dallas ISD enforces safety and security guidelines at stadiums and athletic events
To ensure another safe athletic season, Dallas ISD Police and Security Services and the district’s Athletic Department are enforcing safety and security guidelines at district athletic facilities and events. Police and security officers will not allow anyone into games, gymnasiums, or stadiums wearing specific clothing, including:
Sleeveless T-shirts (males)
Garments displaying explicit writings or drawings
Sexually revealing garments (females)
Do-rags, solid red or blue headscarves, or beads
At the discretion of police and security staff, clothing that appears to be gang apparel will not be allowed into games or events or on Dallas ISD property, including parking lots.
All contraband, including alcohol, tobacco products, and weapons of any kind, is prohibited on any Dallas ISD property and parking lots.
If a verbal or physical altercation causes a disruption during a district-sanctioned event, police and security officers will take appropriate enforcement actions, including arrests.
Tickets will not be sold at the beginning of the fourth quarter of single games or the beginning of fourth quarter of double-headers.
Anyone driving a motor vehicle on Dallas ISD property must have a valid driver’s license and up-to-date auto insurance with them.
Spectators who will be waiting for transportation from the stadium or event should arrange for transportation at least 30 minutes before the event ends.
Because of student weekday and weekend curfews in force, students must make sure their transportation has arrived before the game or event ends.
To avoid potential problems, only those individuals picking up spectators at the end of a game or event will be allowed into the stadium and/or school parking lot.
After a parking lot has been cleared of all vehicles, spectators who remain on the parking lot will be asked to wait outside the parking lot area and/or stadium to wait for their transportation.
If a verbal or physical altercation causes a disruption during a district-sanctioned event, police and security officers will take appropriate enforcement actions, including arrests.
