I don't know who to vote for the "best" ROM of the year, but who's the most likely to be the next Rommed posted? I haven't seen any ROM worthy stuff in a while, so the field is wide open.

hmm...I would vote WTXLonghorn or G$$. Both have had public moderator warnings for their spats in the past week or two.

No way G$$ gets the boot. He's a good baseball man and has exhibited great character from what I've seen. WTXLonghorn is a good poster too - he just goes insane over those Horns.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what does ROM mean? I know it means banned or whatever, but why ROM? Thanks.

What's funny about that is if you get ROMmed, you can't even read the forum. At least I couldn't when I asked to be ROMmed last year for a short time.

mine did the same thing on my 3 year ban. It was brutal having to visit the pig and hear about Stephenville and nicholis tendencies.

When me and LHPM were rommed for our April fools joke.....we could only read threads that we had each started!
I know if we rom someone while they are on the board.....their name will still show up on the user list but they can't do anything.

when a username gets banned, all you have to do to read the board is clear your cookies/cache and restart your browser - then you are read only - if you do log in with your banned name, you will only be able to read posts that you started - yall need to trust me on this one haha :doh:

You could almost say that. I had a very busy schedule with work and starting a side business. I found myself gravitating back to the downlow against my will.
