Due to the possibility of Isadore hitting the coastal bend area our servers which are located in the Bridge City area could go down....hopefully the worst won't happen but the site and/or the board could go down Wednesday possibly...I'll keep anyone updated as I get e-mails and if the site goes down I'll post updates on www.txpreps.com (http://www.txpreps.com)

Ok, I'm not gonna pretend to be a hurricane expert, but I have seen a bunch of them, and I have observed over the years that when they cross the Yucatan Peninsula, they normally strike an area from south of Houston all the way down to northern Mexico. The weather people are not very good at predicting where they will make landfall. It's a good idea to get prepared, but I think northeast Texas down to Houston probably doesn't have a lot to worry about.

I love it!Forecasters say it'll turn north and it keeps goin south.Hopefully it'll stay that way.Right now it's down to 75mph winds.

Hey, is this Hurricane really going to hit us or what? I like hurricane season. I just hope this one does not cause any damage. I just don't want to go to school.
