He narrated the Mexican America War fought in the 1840s. Besides being a great boxer he is an intelligent man and a great narrator. This was a great program worth watching. I will post when they have a rerun.
Oscar was born in the USA to immigrants from Mexico and is a citizen of both countries. He said when he won the gold medal at the Olympics in Barcelona, Spain that he felt like he won it for both countries. A very classy man indeed.
I am not sure but I think he has had several fights in Corpus Christi during his pro boxing career.
