Seems as if the state championship game was played the night Gainesville tripped up Forney. We'll never know as Gainesville completely earned their keep.

Great job Gainesville!

Burnet fans, any take on their future?????

As an Everman fan...I'd say Forney earns the "hard luck award" for 3 yrs in a row now!!!!!!!

You're not kidding.

They've lost each of the last 3 years to eventual State Champions.

If they don't move up to 4A, which is expected, they could be back for more. Think they'll ever get that monkey off their back?

congrats and thanks gainesville for helping forney make the record books again. they lost to the state champion team four years in a row. la grange, everman, everman, and gainesville.
that will go along with our record for baseball. four times in a row to the final four w/o a ring.
is that good or bad?

I say good. At least your getting that far.....Forney has great talent....year in, and year out.

Good or bad? Depends on how you look at it.

In football, other than LaGrange, they didn't make the finals.

In baseball, at least they got to THE TOURNAMENT.

How many teams can match their success in football and baseball over the last 4 seasons?

I did too, rholl, I did too.

Regardless, Forney is a quality program. Too bad they will probably end up in 4A with Ennis in their district....

now that's an OUCH!

Ennis
Terrell
Corsicana

You never know, they could put Waxahachie back in too.

Thanks for the kind words guys...always the bridesmaid never the bride I guess. For whatever reasons we can't seem to get over the hump. Although every season our 'Rabbits come to play. I'd rather be somewhere near the top rather than on the bottem looking up.
