For everyone who got to see the game on TV, what happened with the "catch" right before the Tech TD pass? Was it a catch or not? Sure didn't look like it from a couple of rows up.

One more question: how does 13 seconds tick off the clock on an incomplete pass? Anybody? Everybody? Bueller?

That "catch" was a terible call on the field. The ref that made the call was right in front. Petterson #27 will have nightmares for the next three weeks.

It didn't look like much of a catch to me. It should have been reviewed.

from the stands and the replay showed in the stadium...it looked like Filani's arms were on the ground waiting for the ball. That's why it was ruled a catch and nobody in the stadium was disagreeing, including the A&M coaches....so that is why there wasn't a review. Frantastic still had a TO he could have used to challenge the call.

Great game by both teams...great win for Tech to maybe get some momentum going. They'll need it next week when Mizzou comes to the LBK for homecoming. :D

I'm exhausted...nap time before heading to Northgate for the evening. Pray for safety and smart decisions by all that are down there tonight. I fear what I might see occur... :(

The catch should have been reviewed though. I thought that was the purpose of review - to be sure close calls are correct.

Not the Filani catch, the Britton catch. The one for the first down. They never replayed the catch in the stadium... we all (pretty much the entire first deck of the student section) kept waiting for it but it never showed up.

Russ...I think you were sitting a few rows ahead of me. My buddy said he saw a guy decked out in UT stuff just to the front and left of us. We were in 146 row 21 looking right down on the goalline.

19 Rows up on (roughly) the 40-yd line. That sound right? If so, you should've said hi. I may have been a little inebriated, but I would've welcomed you with open arms.

k it wasn't you then. There was a guy to my left though that had on a UT shirt though so that's why I was wondering. We were sitting around the 5 yard line. I thought to check with you to see if you were going to the game...but we had an early and long tailgate so I forgot to.

I wanna know why with less than 1 min to go with the lead why the A&M secondary let someone get behind them!!! Was it the coverage call ??? They should have let Tech catch everything in front of them!! o well if they tied the game with a fg just don't give up a td !!!!

They blitzed, which freed up Johnson in one-on-one coverage against a redshirt freshman. Harrell knew where he was going as soon as the ball was snapped.

Good call by the soph. Great catch by Johnson. Ballgame.

LOL. It happens. We usually tailgate, but decided instead to BBQ at my brother's house. We all wanted to watch some football while we were eating, and none of us have satellite TV's laying around the house.
