The Yoemen recorded their first goose egg of the season holding the Leps to ZERO first downs until the 3rd quarter. Though it may not seem like a severe blowout, this game was total domination. 1st quarter, our defense played 6 downs. Scored on our first two possessions, short punt on the 3rd. After holding the leps to yet another 3rd & out, they punted to Brian Scott who returned the ball 60 yards for a TD making it (after the PAT) 20-0. Very next series, we kickoff, hold them to 3 & out, they punt again and AGAIN Brian runs it back, this time 67 yards to the endzone! 2nd half, Lorena barely moves the ball but took up much of the quarter on 1-6 yard gains at a time. After finally having to give it back to us, our offense scores on one play, 72 yards for another TD. 3rd quarter, our offense touched the field ONE TIME. For 6 points. After that, the clean up crew did the rest of the work to close it out. Game was over pretty early by like 9:45 or so. Awesome job by the Yoe defense and quite the birthday present for Brian Scott who hada hand I think in all but one of our touchdowns. Next week we play 4A Fredericksburg who I believe is 4-1. Should be interesting!!!!
